San Diego, CA—Cosmederm Bioscience has appointed Kristine Foss as the Vice President of Regulatory and Quality. Foss will be responsible for leading and managing the Cosmederm team in strategic development and execution of all regulatory compliance plans and processes. She will also provide counsel to the company’s development team regarding interpretation of FDA and other regulatory authorities’ requirements.

Foss has more than 25 years of experience in global regulatory management of complex medical device and combination products, including a focus on the aesthetics industry. She has held VP-level positions with Mentor Corporation (J&J) and Solta Medical (Valeant) where she lead the company’s global regulatory, quality, and clinical activities. Prior to that, Foss worked at several leading medical device and pharmaceutical companies, successfully attaining international regulatory approvals, conducting clinical trials, and achieving quality objectives.
